Having recently fitted PV panels at The Birmingham Press mansion I can vouch for the joy of watching an electric meter run backwards.... And it's catching on.
The firm that fitted ours was EvoEnergy and their opos reported a full order book months ahead.

I love it - I think local incentive schemes to promote people spending money in local shops and businesses is great anyway.
